Talented Superfan

Talented Superfan is a playlist series focused on showcasing fresh talent of Latin and House Music.

Talented Superfan was created to introduce a new generation to Melanie Thornton the former lead singer of La Bouche.

She will always be a part of what I do because she inspires me with her beauty, stage presence and talent. We lost her way too soon in 2001 to a terrible plane crash just as she was beginning her solo career.

Editorial Note: This year I will only feature artists who use minimal to no Auto-Tune. Also if it’s mainstream you probably won’t find it in my playlist.

The perfect playlist is blended latin and house music with some regional, latin pop, hiphop, thrown in. Each playlist will feature a song from the collection of Melanie Thornton to honor her memory. Creating this monthly playlist brings me much joy and I hope you will enjoy.
